Feast of the Holy Cross (September 14)

As you may know, September 14, 2017 is the Feast of the Holy Cross and the 10th anniversary of Pope Benedict’s Moto Proprio, Summorum Pontificum, which provided greater access to the Latin Mass.

We have 2 Traditional Latin Masses in North Carolina for the Feast of the Holy Cross – one in Charlotte, the other in Raleigh. We will keep you updated on additional ones.

  1. St. Ann Catholic Church, Charlotte – 7pm.  Fr. Reid will be offering a High Mass for this feast day.  Additionally, St. Ann parish will offer exposition of a relic of the True Cross for veneration all day. They will need scheduled adorers to venerate teh Cross each hour – we’ll keep you updated on sign up lists.
  2. Holy Name Cathedral, Raleigh – 7pm: We have a new sister organization in Raleigh, the Tridentine Mass Society of Raleigh and they are hitting the ground running. On Thursday September 14th 7pm, they are sponsoring a Solemn High Mass at the new Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in Raleigh. Please see the attached flyer for details.
