Father Jason Christian (Parochial Vicar at St. Thomas Aquinas parish) spoke about the Social Kingship of Jesus Christ on October 27, 2016 for the Charlotte Latin Mass Community’s (CLMC) 3rd Latin Mass class series.
Father Christian’s talk addressed the issues of what is the role of Christ and His Church among temporal governments and nations. He also introduced the Charlotte faithful to Blessed Karl I of Austria, the last Catholic Emperor and ruler of Europe, who best exemplified these teachings as called for in Pope Pius XI’s 1925 encyclical Quas Primas.
