The Church grants a plenary indulgence applicable to the poor souls in purgatory each day from November 1-8 for those who receive Holy Communion, visit a cemetery and offer prayers for the dead. See our webpage for more details and the conditions to obtain the indulgence:
Plenary Indulgence for All Souls Day November 2
There is also a separate plenary indulgence which can be obtained for the poor souls on November 2, for those who piously visit a church or oratory and recite the “Our Father” and the “Creed” there.
CLMC Novena to Poor Souls for a Dedicated Latin Mass Chapel & FSSP
Lastly, we thank everyone who have joined us in praying the CLMC’s novena to the poor souls in purgatory for a dedicated Latin Mass chapel staffed by priests of the Fraternity of St. Peter. The novena concludes tomorrow November 1, however to add extra prayers to the matter, we also invite everyone to try and attend Mass on All Souls day (as well as visit a cemetery) to petition the poor souls on our request to the Bishop.
Lastly, looking ahead to the elections, we reshare the Holy Face novena (began yesterday) which all are welcome to join in praying for the next week.
