Laudetur Iesus Christus and blessed Advent greetings! We are now in the penitential season of Advent, and we wanted to share with you the list of upcoming traditional liturgies as it currently stands. All Masses are Traditional Latin Masses (1962). As always please check the bulletin or parish website for the most up to date information.
Sunday December 24 – Vigil of Christmas

Monday December 25 – Christmas/Feast of Our Lord’s Nativity

Tuesday December 26 – Feast of St. Stephen (2nd Day – Octave of Christmas)
11 AM – High Mass – St. John the Baptist parish in Tryon, NC (2 hour drive west of Charlotte)
Wednesday December 27 – Feast of St. John the Evangelist (3rd Day Octave of Christmas)
Wine Blessing for Feast of St. John: St. Mark parish, Huntersville – during 7 AM Novus Ordo Mass –after homily. Wine must be placed in front right pew before Mass. Blessing will be in Extraordinary Form/1962. You can use blessed wine to drink, cook, etc.
Honoring the patron of wine, St. John who avoided poisoned wine by blessing the wine and the poison arose out of the cup.

5:30 PM – Solemn High Mass (Charlotte Catholic High School Chapel)
Charlotte Catholic High School address: 7702 Pinesville-Matthews Road, Charlotte, NC 28226. Chapel is along the main entrance to the school.
*The blessing will begin at 5pm prompt. Bring water and chalk to be blessed and place them in the chapel before 5pm. Please bring your own water and containers (need to be unsealed during blessing) as well as chalk.
Epiphany Water is a powerful sacramental and the blessing prayer contains an exorcism and the litany of the saints. Epiphany chalk is a tradition where the head of household can mark the mantle of the door as part of the Epiphany home blessing. For more information please visit:
