Laudetur Iesus Christus! We have a couple brief reminders to bring up that are relevant to this coming week.
- New expanded daily Latin Mass schedule starting today at St. Ann: How fitting that tomorrow, Monday October 17th, the Feast of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, St. Ann Catholic Church will be expanding their daily Latin Mass schedule to include Monday’s at 8:30 am and Friday’s at 7:00 am. Note that these new Mass times may be cancelled or altered on days that overlap with national holidays. Please check the St. Ann’s Bulletin for the most up to date information.
St. Margaret Mary Alacoque is the Saint who communicated to the world the First Friday’s devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus from a vision that she received directly with Jesus Christ. Our Latin Mass community has a wonderful growing devotion to the Sacred Heart … and it may be so that the Sacred Heart is to be credited for the many graces we have received.
Mass Attendance is important … please join us if you are able.
- Liturgy & Fraternity, Wednesday Oct 19th: This coming Wednesday, after the 6:00 pm Latin Mass at St. Ann, all men are welcome to join us for our Monthly Liturgy & Fraternity evening of fellowship. A group of men meet around 7:00 pm every third Wednesday at Sir Edmond Halley’s which is a quaint restaurant a couple blocks away from St. Ann’s [located at: 4151 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28209, (704) 525-7775]. Note that this Wednesday’s meeting does coincide with the third and final Presidential debate which starts about 9:00 pm… but we will still enjoy some good fellowship even if it is a little abbreviated.
