Laudetur Iesus Christus! As a follow up to the CLMC’s October 4 announcement requesting Bishop Jugis establish dedicated Latin Mass chapel in or near the Charlotte area, staffed by the priests of the Fraternity of St. Peter, we are pleased to share that starting this Monday the Charlotte Latin Mass Community and Salisbury Latin Mass Community (without a weekly Sunday Latin Mass since 2015) are teaming up to pray a novena for a dedicated Latin Mass chapel staffed by the FSSP as families from both communities would benefit much from such a chapel.
We invite all Latin Mass families to join us in this important novena.
The novena will be to the Poor Souls in Purgatory, and begin on Monday October 24 (feast of St. Raphael), and end on November 1, All Saints Day (the day prior to All Souls). We also invite everyone to try and attend Mass on All Souls Day.
The novena is attached and also provided below. Please invite your family and friends to join in as well – children are especially encouraged to join as the prayers of children are most efficacious to God (Matthew 18:3-4).
God Bless,
Charlotte and Salisbury Latin Mass Communities

Novena Intention: For Bishop Jugis to establish a dedicated Latin Mass chapel in or near Charlotte and invite the Fraternity of St. Peter priests to staff it.)
Blessed Souls, we have prayed for thee; we entreat thee, who are so dear to God, and who are secure of never losing Him, to pray for us miserable sinners, who are in danger of being damned, and of losing God forever.
Let us pray:
O God, the author of mercy, the lover of the salvation of mankind; we address thy clemency, in behalf of our brethren, relations, and benefactors, who are departed this life, that by the intercession of blessed Mary, ever virgin, and of all the saints, thou wouldst receive them into the enjoyment of eternal happiness; through Christ our Lord. Amen.
