Laudetur Iesu Christus on this, the 102nd anniversary of Our Lady’s 1st apparition of Fatima. As we proceed further into Our Lady’s month of May (and Eastertide) we have several upcoming Latin Mass updates to share with you.
Mass cancellations at St. Ann this week: There will be no St. Ann Latin Masses at 7am or 6pm on Wednesday May 15 or 7am Friday May 17.
Seminary Latin Mass is suspended for the summer: The 7am Wednesday Latin Mass at St. Ann (offered by Seminary priests) is suspended for the summer until classes resume in August.
Ascension Thursday May 30: 7pm, Solemn High Mass, St. Ann
Friday May 31 (Feast of the Queenship of Mary): 7pm Solemn High Mass, Cathedral of St. Patrick
Tuesday June 11 (Veneration of Padre Pio’s relics & Latin Mass): 9am – 8pm, veneration of St. Padre Pio’s relics at the Cathedral of St. Patrick (1621 E. Dilworth Road, Charlotte) and a 5:30 PM Traditional Latin Mass offered by Fr. Barone (at the Cathedral – not sure if its Low or High Mass). Saturday June 15: 9am, St. Ann Respect Life Mass – The June Respect Life Mass will be a Latin Mass on the 3rd Saturday – Ember Saturday June 15. After Mass the St. Ann Respect Life Ministry will pray at the new abortion facility which will be opened by Planned Parenthood later this summer.
