Christ the King-All Saints-All Souls

Laudetur Iesus Christus! We have a few updates to share with you:

Mass updates for the next week

Wednesday October 24: 6pm Mass will not be a Latin Mass (it will be Ordinary Form as Fr. is away). There is still a 7am Latin Mass at St. Ann offered by the Seminary priests.

Feast of Christ the King

This Sunday October 28 is the great feast of Christ the King and at the Sunday 12:30 PM Latin Mass (St. Ann parish), the Cantate Domino Latin Choir will grace us by singing beautiful Gregorian chants to mark the occasion. We will also be passing out our booklets on the Kingship of Christ while supplies last (if you haven’t received one last year).

Also St. John the Baptist parish in Tryon, NC (2 hours west of Charlotte) is also offering a Latin Mass (1st Sunday TLM since the 1960s?) on Sunday October 28 at 11:00 AM.

All Saints

Wednesday October 31*: All Saints Latin Mass 7pm (High), St. Thomas Aquinas parish. (*Per priest: St. Thomas Mass 7pm will fulfill obligation for November 1). There is also a 6pm Low Mass at St. Ann.
Thursday November 1 (All Saints): St. Ann will offer a 7pm Latin Mass (Holy Day of Obligation)
Thursday November 1 (All Saints): 6:30 PM Latin Mass (High), St. John the Baptist in Tryon, NC (2 hours west of Charlotte – see website link below for directions)
Thursday November 1 (All Saints): Our Lady of Grace in Greensboro (90 minutes north of Charlotte) will offer a 7:30 pm High Mass.

All Souls

Friday November 2 (All souls): The 7am Latin Mass at St. Ann is the only All Souls Day Latin Mass currently scheduled near Charlotte (see Tryon below).
Friday November 2 (All Souls): The normal 12:30 pm Latin Mass at St. Mark is canceled for Nov 2.
Friday November 2 (All Souls): 6:30 pm Latin Mass (High) at St. John the Baptist in Tryon (see website below for directions)

St. Michael Latin Mass correction

We had a typo in our prior e-mail about the day of the Latin Masses at St. Michael. The Latin Mass will be offered sometime in November on Thursdays (not Tuesdays) at 7am.  When we learn the exact day they will start, we will share it with you. We apologize for the typo.
