Laudetur Iesus Christus! We have a few updates to share. However, be aware that daylight savings time goes into effect this Sunday morning – be sure to push your clocks ahead by 1 hour.
Here are our upcoming weekend events:
- Annual Feast of St. Gregory Celebration tomorrow, Sunday March 11 after 12:30pm Latin Mass: Laetare Sunday is also our annual St. Gregory celebration (feast is actually Monday), with the Cantate Domino Latin Choir providing beautiful chant during Mass and afterwards we’ll serve musical themed treats to honor the patron of Gregorian chant.
- Parish mission begins tomorrow, Sunday March 11 at 7pm: Fr. John Perricone, Ph.D. will lead the parish mission at 7pm each night from Sunday – Wednesday, with confessions to follow the talk. On Wednesday there will be the normal 6pm Wednesday Latin Mass, and after the mission there will be a light reception. Details are on our website: https://charlottelatinmass.org/2018/02/14/st-ann-lenten-mission-march-11-14/
- Next Sunday – Holy Land Reflection with Fr. Barone Sunday March 18 after 12:30pm Mass: To prepare us for Holy Week, Fr. Barone will provide a reflection on his Holy Land pilgrimage and Life of Christ. This will be in the Allen Center and will be a potluck lunch – please bring something to share. You won’t want to miss this.
