March update

Here are some Latin Mass updates for mid to Late March.
Feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Wednesday, March 25th):  Please note that the Feast of the Annunciation this year falls on a Wednesday.
— Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Salisbury will offer a High Mass at 6:00 pm
— St. Thomas Catholic Churches in Charlotte will offer a High Mass at 7:00 pm
— St. Ann Catholic Church in Charlotte will not have a Mass as Father Reid is out of town.

St. Mark Respect Life Talk: End of Life Issues: Rita Marker: (This Message from Mike FitzGerald) I wanted to share an important event coming up on March 25th – St. Mark’s Respect Life group is sponsoring a talk by Rita Marker, an end of life expert and Executive Director of the Patients Rights Council.  She will discuss how to protect you and your family’s medical decisions and also euthanasia from a Catholic Perspective.  A living will is inadequate and many times the Doctor or medical staff can make decisions against our wishes unless we are legally protected.  The same talk will be given twice that day – 10:00 am and 7:00 pm. No reservation or costs are required.  A free-will offering will be collected at the door.
Passiontide through the Octave of Easter:  Please note that the attached Calendar includes the first 12 days of April (through Low Sunday).  As has been noted before, during the liturgically “heavy” seasons (Christmas and Easter), please closely monitor your parish bulletins for late breaking updates.  This email update is only a courtesy and it is not authoritative.  Remember that Latin Masses are provided by our diocesan priests as an extraordinary offering.  During these seasons, the needs of the ordinary form calendar can impact the Latin Mass schedules.
