St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church:

The most frequent question we have received is from people who can not figure out how this 2,000 year old Mass could be hated so passionately by some. How could something so beautiful be considered so controversial and divisive? The answer is found in the very center of this picture … it is Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
The manner in which our blessed Lord is treated so reverently; that we kneel before the King of Kings; that we refuse to receive Him in the crude commonplace of our hands; that we do not speak the name of Jesus Christ using vulgar language … some are simply unable to tolerate such things.
As has been stated many times, the many ways in which this Mass of Ages has been persecuted, despised, suppressed, and cancelled for 2,000 years is the surest proof of it’s divine origin.
