Activities

The CLMC has developed some apostolates and activities to help evangelize the Latin Mass and to foster fellowship among those who an interest in the Traditional Latin Mass:

Fellowship Coffee & Donuts

The CLMC hosts a fellowship coffee most Sundays in the plaza (or in the foyer) immediately after the 12:30pm Mass.  It’s a great way to meet the other families who attend Latin Mass. We will post coffee dates on our website or via e-mail.

Chapel Veil Sewing Team

The CLMC provides complimentary Mantillas (Chapel Veils) for the ladies. These mantillas are sewn by ladies among our community at no charge. The team also provides a complimentary booklet on the mantilla and its history. If you like to sew and can help sew mantillas (or would like to learn) please contact us.

Latin Mass Information Table

The CLMC runs a Q&A table in the narthex before and after Mass to answer your questions about the Latin Mass. We also showcase several different missals and books you can browse that can aid in your learning the Traditional Latin Mass. Likewise, you can also sign up for our e-mail list there.

Latin Mass Class Series

Inaugurated in 2016, the CLMC Latin Mass Class co-hosted with St. Ann parish provides an expanded forum to learn more about the Latin Mass, and the related customs, traditions, and theology of the Latin Mass.

Latin Mass Young Adult Lunch Group

Meeting periodically throughout the year, this group under the patronage of St. Benedict, meets after 12:30pm Sunday Mass and goes out to lunch nearby. Stop by the Latin Mass table after Sunday Latin Mass at St. Ann to join.

Juventutem – International Young Adult group centered around Latin Mass

Juventutem Charlotte (Latin for youth) is a group for young adults ages 18-35 that seeks sanctification through the traditional charisms of the Church, especially through a devotion to the Traditional Latin Mass and faithful catechesis. Juventutem takes its name from the prayer at the beginning of each Latin Mass: Introíbo ad altáre Dei. / Ad Deum, qui lætíficat iuventútem meam. (“I will go in to the altar of God. / To God, who giveth joy to my youth”).
