Charlotte Latin Masses in 2015

St. Ann parish

In 2015, out of his generosity, Fr. Reid offered not only Sunday and Wednesday Latin Masses, but also offered Masses on special occasions including the Feasts of St. Joseph, Assumption, Ascension Thursday, Corpus Christi, Assumption (parish’s 60th anniversary), All Souls, Immaculate Conception and the annual Rorate Mass in December. A nuptial Solemn High Mass was offered on the Feast of St. Valentine and a Solemn High Requiem Mass was also offered for Fr. Reid’s father on December 1.

Other parishes

While St. Ann parish is the center of Latin Masses in Charlotte, other area parishes also offered the Latin Mass including St. Michael’s in Gastonia (weekdays), Sacred Heart (monthly), and especially St. Thomas Aquinas, which in addition to its Wednesday High Mass, offered Solemn High Masses, with the beautiful sacred music provided by the Carolina Catholic Chorale for Ascension Thursday, the relics of St. Maria Goretti in October, and the Rorate Mass in December.
